Plant-based protein expertise center

In collaboration with the Institute of Nutrition and Functional Foods (INAF), the Plant-based Protein Expertise Centre centralizes Quebec and Canadian expertise in this field.

The themes guiding the Centre’s actions are:

  • Plant cultivation and primary processing
  • Product and ingredient development
  • Social innovation and education on plant proteins
  • Process scale-up and production transfer

Techno-economic support is also offered for technology transfer, with access to specific technology equipment and prototype manufacturing.
