Cintech and Productique Québec join forces to support Quebec agri-food companies in their digital transformation
CINTECH AGROALIMENTAIRE AND PRODUCTIQUE QUÉBEC ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE SIGNING OF A PARTNERSHIP TO SUPPORT QUEBEC AGRIFOOD COMPANIES IN THEIR DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION.
As part of this partnership, the two college technology transfer centers (CCTTs) will collaborate on the deployment of a technical support offer aimed in particular at creating added value for agri-food businesses. This agreement will focus on three (3) strategic areas: digital diagnostics in the agri-food sector, partnerships and sharing of local, national and international networks, and promotion and coordination with companies and partners.

On January 25, 2022, the Ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation announced $24.6 million in funding to support eight new projects as part of the Offensive de transformation numérique (Digital Transformation Offensive). Of this amount, the Conseil de la transformation agroalimentaire du Québec (CTAQ) received support of $2.64 million for a project totalling over $4 million. This project is aimed at increasing productivity, competitiveness and improving performance in the food processing sector.
In the wake of this recent announcement, the Cintech and Productique Québec partnership comes at just the right time, for the benefit of Quebec agri-food companies wishing to accelerate their digital transformation. The strength of this association will provide access to a network of experts unrivalled to date in this sector. The two CCTTs are already hard at work carrying out digital diagnostics for numerous companies.
